  • Induction Evening - Monday 8th July 6:00-7:30pm.

The above dates are where you and your child receive some of the finer detail regarding starting at Kearsley Academy. You will also meet your child's form tutor and have the opportunity to ask any specific questions in relation to your child.

  • Summer School Dates 2014 - These are tbc and will be uploaded after easter half term.

  • Year 7 Transition Parents Evening - Autumn Term October 2014 (date tbc).

  • Year 7 Progress Parents Evening - Summer Term June 2015 (date tbc).

We have two Year 7 Consultation evenings! One in October and one further in the academic year (Summer Term).

The transition parents evening allows us to discuss initial thoughts and feelings, academic and social progress since starting at Kearsley Academy. This is to ensure that all transition requirements have been met and you and your child are confident about the their start here. The evening is hosted by our Assistant Principal, KS3 Co-ordinator Mr N. Darlington, with both the Pastoral and Achievement leaders! as well as the Year 7 learning mentor and form tutors.

The progress parents evening follows on from you half termly data profiles of your child. Every half term you will receive a student tracker, outlining achievement and effort against your child's targets. During this parents evening you will have the opportunity to speak to all of your child's teachers about their academic progress.

There is also the opportunity to respond to the data trackers half termly if you have any questions regarding their content.
