Pupil Premium Impact Statement

We are pleased to report that the disadvantaged students in last year's Year 11 made more progress compared to their national counterparts in English and Maths. The gap in terms of the average point score they achieved in English, Maths and their best 8 GCSEs has also fallen in each of the last three years. This has been done through providing targeted intervention for disadvantaged students through our Support Leaders and continuously improving the teaching and learning that each student receives. This has included spending money to secure resources to run personalised programmes of study determined by how students performed on each question in each exam they have taken and for subject specific resources, for example MathsWatch VLE.
