Royal Mail is running an amazing national letter writing competition for students under the age of 14. Royal Mail's Young Letter Writer Competition has been running for more than 37 years and we're hoping to make this one a year to remember! The theme of the competition this year is 'What's your dream job?'. Children are invited to write a letter on this subject using the Official Entry Form.

£1,000 prizes for overall winners and their schools.

Prizes will be awarded to both the shortlisted pupils and their schools in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and in each of the nine regions across England. In total, there are 60 prizes for both the under 11 and the 11 to under 14 age categories Overall winners will receive £1,000 in vouchers for their family, and £1,000 will be awarded to their school. Area winners and schools will each receive £200, and £40 will be awarded to both area runners up and their schools. Winners will be announced by 31st January 2016. All children in the UK aged under 14 years can take part (we will accept children who are under the age of 14 on 1st September 2015).
