Remembrance is part of modern British life, culture and heritage and the poppy is the symbol of Remembrance and hope.

Remembrance Sunday, which falls on 8 November 2015, is a day for the nation to remember and honour those who have sacrificed themselves to secure and protect our freedom.

To support this we are making poppies in form time for the Stoneclough Remembrance Day Poppy Display, supporting the British Legion by selling poppies at break and lunch, a special Remembrance Assembly for all year and a 2 minute silence.
