On Friday 28th September, the Greater Manchester Police Authority visited our year nine pupils to ask about their views on policing in the local area. Pupils took part in a number of workshops; including a CSI themed session in which pupils were able to have a look at a crime scene investigation van, have their fingerprints taken and learn how to lift fingerprints from crime scenes. All pupils had a great time and have expressed their enthusiasm to undertake a follow up day with GMP next year. Richard Whitehead, organiser of the event, stated that this “was one of the nicest schools they had visited” Well Done to our fabulous year nine who really made the day a success!
